These two STYRIA employees made it among the best 30 under 30 in global news media business
It is a special honor for STYRIA Media Group: Two of our employees received the "Young Professional Award" from the worldwide news media association IMNA. Dominik Beber from 24sata and Michael Sommer (Kleine Zeitung), both in the category Content & Product.

To make it under the best 30 under 30 years is considered already in the domestic medium landscape as mad success. Therefore the Awards for Dominik Beber and Michael Sommer can not to be estimated highly enough at all, as the world federation INMA selected them among the most outstanding Young Professionals.
Sommer studied journalism and PR and works as "Project Lead Interactive" at the Kleine Zeitung, where he is responsible for digital storytelling. "Of course, I am very happy to be part of this year's INMA 30 under 30," he says. "This is a great acknowledgement for our Interactive project and all the colleagues with whom we implemented visual storytelling pieces and data journalistic projects last year."
Looking at the other nominees - some of whom came from international industry giants such as the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal and Axel Springer - he says he was struck by the fact that "as Kleine Zeitung we are on the right track and have taken another step towards becoming the 'digital first' with this project." He would especially like to thank Sanda Loncar, Head of Product and Data: "Without her innovative spirit and her confidence in my ideas, this would not have been possible."
Dominik Beber was also successful in the Content & Product category: He is editor-in-chief of the number one media brand for generation Z in Croatia – "JoomBoos", which once emerged from a STYRIA incubator idea. A medium that is primarily aimed at Generation Z and Generation Alpha, i.e. people born after 1997. "This is an audience that will soon dominate," says Beber. Therefore media companies would have to find new ways of reporting in order to reach these target groups. "This award is a clear sign that we are on the right track. Although it is an individual award, I would like to dedicate it to the entire JoomBoos and Video team and my boss Matej Loncaric, who trusted me and gave me the opportunity to run a successful brand like JoomBoos. I would also like to thank the entire 24sata team who believed in our ideas and supported us."
