STYRIA Media Group becomes shareholder of German Offerista Group
STYRIA Media Group acquires a 20% stake in the German Offerista Group, a specialist for digital retail marketing - and thus takes a further step towards internationalisation. In return, STYRIA will transfer 100% of the shares in wogibtswas.at, the Austrian market leader for digital brochures, to the Offerista Group. This makes the Offerista Group the largest digital retailer in the DACH region.
www.wogibtswas.at is the market leader in Austria with a supported brand awareness of 65 percent and around 1 million unique users*. Users can use their own portals and apps to find out about leaflets and activities in the area. Offerista also relies on a network of partners with a high reach in Germany, reaching at least one in two consumers. This unique principle is now also being implemented in Austria and a partner network of strong publishers is available to the customers of wogibtswas.at. wogibtswas.at will remain an independent brand and company. Oliver Olschewski, who remains Managing Director in Austria, says: "I am pleased to offer our customers even more reach for their trade communication."

For the Offerista Group, going to Austria is the next step in implementing a long-term internationalisation strategy. In 2017, Offerista and Swiss Post launched the Startup Profital, the first provider of digital brochures in Switzerland.
