Customer acquisition by Big Data and Data Science as basis for new business models and innovative services in the digital world: "Styria Marketing Services" as a subsidiary of the Styria Media Group was awarded "#Digital Paragon 2018" by a top-class jury of Confare and EY.

Pick up customers in the digital world, accept the challenges of digital transformation and competition with online giants, identify and seize new opportunities: Styria Marketing Services (SMS), responsible for customer acquisition and retention of the major brands "Die Presse" and "Kleine Zeitung", was awarded as a role model and showcase for successful digitisation projects at the Confare Conference IDEE in Vienna. Winners of the "Innovative Digital Experience Award" are considered digital pioneers with innovative projects that successfully master the challenge of digital transformation.

According to the jury, the SMS lays a good foundation for the entire media world and shows how to be and remain successful with a far-reaching opportunity programme in an industry that is under massive pressure to digitise.
