Print & online international

In 2001 Styria expanded its activities to Croatia, where they acquired the traditional daily newspaper Večernji list. By introducing the daily newspaper 24sata to the market in 2005, Styria launched a totally new product, which became the undisputed number one newspaper on the Croatian daily newspaper market in just two years. Since 2008 the daily business newspaper Poslovni dnevnik has also been part of the Croatian Styria-Portfolio. Besides the platforms of print brands, Styria is also digitally represented through the market leading njuskalo.hr, a portal for small advertisements.

In Slovenia, where Styria has been active since 2003, the group has focused on extending its digital market position. With the marketplace portal bolha.com and job portal MojeDelo.com, Styria is the market leader. Also contributing to the portfolio in Slovenia is part-ownership of the Dnevnik newsstand daily paper group.
In 2005 the international business of Styria became its own company, the Styria Media International. The Styria Media International is responsible for all foreign investments of the Styria Media Group in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro and has become the most successful player in southeast Europe with its media brands.
