Managing Director Rudolf Schwarz leaves "Die Presse“
After almost five years of successful economic repositioning, Rudolf Schwarz has devoted himself to a new professional challenge.
Since his appointment to the management of the daily newspaper "Die Presse" in 2014, Rudolf Schwarz has been very successfully involved in a very ambitious phase of corporate repositioning and the increasing digitalization of the Austrian quality medium. He will leave the company at his own request at the end of April 2019.
Markus Mair, CEO of Styria Media Group: "Rudolf Schwarz was very successful in his more than 10-year career in our group in various STYRIA brands. In a very challenging and dynamic environment as part of the management of the 'Presse', he was decisively responsible for the positive development of the company. We would like to thank him for his many years of commitment and wish him continued success for his future tasks".
The Chairman of the "Presse" Management Board, Herwig Langanger, who has been Managing Director since 2010, will now take over the entire B2B marketing in addition to the existing responsibilities and, together with Rainer Nowak, Editor-in-Chief, Publisher and Managing Director, will thus manage the publishing skills of the "Presse".
"Rudolf Schwarz has worked successfully with our advertising market team on the B2B market and has managed the division very well. I thank him for that," says Herwig Langanger.
"I would like to thank my managing director colleague for the always good and open cooperation, which was characterized by high professionalism, solidarity and transparency," adds Rainer Nowak.
Rudolf Schwarz began his professional career in 2005 after studying business administration at Kleine Zeitung. Born in Styria, he joined Czipin Consulting in 2009, where he was responsible for productivity enhancement projects in retail and service companies. In October 2014 Rudolf Schwarz was appointed managing director of the "Presse" in the Styria Media Group.
