Everything, always and everywhere – the “Kleine Zeitung” has developed into a multifunctional life companion. The online editors not only make sure that events all over the world can be followed on "www.kleinezeitung.at" at any time, but also deliver a complete service: the cinema programme, event tips, tips for trips and news from topics about People & Style, Cars & Motor, Animals, Multimedia and much more.
One particular focus is on regional reporting: On two regional pages (Carinthia and Styria), 28 district pages and 707 community pages, the “Kleine Zeitung Digital” impressively proves its leading role. The content, which comes from the editors as well as directly from the local residents, is not restricted to photos and text. The video team regularly captures images at regional events for the own video format. Additionally, editors show recordings of current news on public screens for example in the tram and buses in Graz and Klagenfurt. Those particularly interested can access current news directly on their mobile phones or receive the current weather report by text message. Communication however does not only run in one direction. The “Kleine” integrates its readers personally. Photos, reports and comments from “reader reporters” are published in the newspaper and online. There is also enough room for the real life of users on 40.000 weblogs (online-diaries) to share holiday and family photos with the rest of the world.
